Fluus Cashless · Feature
Attendees top up their wristband from their phone with a card or Yappy — no top-up line, no cash.
Once a guest links their wristband in fluus.app, they can add funds in seconds: pick an amount, pay with Visa, Mastercard or American Express (processed by PagueloFacil, with bank 3-D Secure when required) or approve a Yappy request in their Yappy app. The paid top-up is then loaded onto the wristband by itself the next time it is tapped at any Fluus point: during a purchase, if the balance falls short, the vendor loads it and charges the same order; at any balance check; or right after any sale or cashier top-up, where the screen tells the vendor there is an online top-up waiting. The guest watches the pending top-up and the new balance update live in the app.
Top-up booths are where event lines start: cash handling, card terminals and staff at peak hours. Moving top-ups to the guest’s phone removes that queue, puts money in the system earlier and lets bars keep selling. Fluus keeps the wristband as the source of truth: every online top-up is reserved for a single device, written only to the wristband it was paid for and never loaded twice — and without internet the bars keep selling exactly as before.
Midway through a festival, a guest’s balance runs low while friends are already at the bar. Instead of walking to the top-up booth, she adds $20 from fluus.app with Yappy. At the bar her balance falls short, so the bartender taps “Load $20 and charge”: the wristband is topped up and the drinks are paid in the same visit.
